Join us for an exciting two‑day Ruler Retreat with Donelle McAdams, a highly sought‑after instructor known for her clear, encouraging teaching style and her ability to make ruler work truly click. Whether you’re brand new or looking to refine your skills, Donelle will guide you step by step as you build confidence and master ruler quilting on your domestic machine.

Your class fee includes a complete, custom, exclusive kit — backing included — so you can focus entirely on learning and creating. Lunch is provided each day, making this a relaxed, immersive quilting experience.

This retreat is the perfect opportunity to explore ruler work before investing. You’ll be able to try Sew Steady and Westalee rulers, experiment with different techniques, and discover what works best for you. We will also have machines available to test drive, along with special event‑only deals for those interested in purchasing a machine.

For the best quilting experience, we highly recommend using a Sew Steady table. If you’d like to order one, contact the shop — any Sew Steady table purchased by May 15 comes with a FREE carry case (over a $50 value).

To reserve your place in a class, payment is required when you register. Phoned-in payments can be made with a credit or debit card. In-store payments can be made with cash, check, credit, or debit card.

Supplies are NOT included in the class fee unless stated. Supply lists are provided by the instructors and will be provided prior to class. Please purchase all supplies and complete any pre-class work prior to class.

If you register then find you cannot attend, please call the shop to cancel. Cancellations must be received at least one week (7 days) prior to the start of class for a refund to be issued. We are happy to transfer you to another class or issue a credit if we are notified within 7 days prior to class. Instructors reserve the right to cancel a class if the minimum attendance requirements are not met.

A full refund will be given for any class canceled by an instructor. Class schedules are subject to change. From time-to-time personal situations arise that require instructors to alter class dates and/or times. When such situations arise, our staff or instructor will notify those enrolled in the class to work out and adjust the schedule.
